Gigi's Pizza News: updated 6/15
NEW COUPONS online... Menu Updates: We finally have launched our White Sauce! Sorry it took so long, for those who've been asking. But we had to be sure it was GREAT. It's got hints of the best flavors for white pizza combinations, including Ranch, Parmesan, and Garlic. We call it "White Sauce #9". We've added some white sauce based creations to our menu too. (hint: try the "Kickin' Chicken" - a staff favorite right now...) Brand New items: Gigi Bread! Yummy for dipping - it's round and has cheese and garlic. White Sauce - see notes above for detail. New Toppings - Salami, Chicken and Bacon have been added. Exciting New Combinations!
Other News -Visit downtown for the Farmers Market, Saturdays. It's a new company organizing it, and it looks like it will be lots of fun! We'll be open, as usual at 11:00 AM, but the market is from 9:00 to 1:00. -Plan to come downtown for all the "First Fridays". They start at 6:00 PM the first Friday of each month (7/6, 8/3, etc). There's live music out on the street, downtown shops stay open, and it's a hint of what downtown SHOULD look like - with people hanging out & strolling around, while eating their gigantic slices of Gigi's Pizza! We have completed our first School Night fundraisers - and they were so much fun that we are happy to discuss options with other schools or non-profit groups that are interested. Our program is simple to implement - the school simply distributes a flyer promoting the purchase of a tasty Gigi's Pizza on a particular day or night. We can provide nifty flyers, or help with graphics for a poster. Additional marketing like press releases or group bulletin mentions are great, too. Then, the night of the event, we track every order that submits (or mentions) the flyer and then donate back a percentage of those sales to the group. Gigi's Pizza is PROUD to announce that we are now the pizza providor for parties at Jump N Slide, the newest facility in Tracy for jumping, bouncing, climbing fun. We've had a GREAT time participating in the Book Bucks program. That's the week when kids earn Book Bucks by completing homework based on reading the Tri-Valley Herald, and then get to spend them with participating shops. We redeemed HUNDREDS of BookBucks, and it was thrilling to see kids happy with their decision to spend them on great big Gigi's "Cheese Please" or Pepperoni slices. We got reviewed! The Stockton Record stopped in, anonymously (as any real restaurant review should be), and wrote us up. We were pleased with comments including the headline, "Gigi's Pizzas and Salads Satisfy". "Open just two months at 10th Street and Central Avenue, the restaurant has an advantageous corner location and an eye-catching green, yellow and orange color scheme. The interior is also notable, with its broad windows, modern tables and chairs, flat-screen television (beaming a Dave Matthews Band concert for our visit) and a pepperoni pizza clock. The dining room is not large but projects an atmopshere of uncluttered comfort." You can read the whole review here for a while. |
